Sorry for the short post, but here are the pictures of the sensory bottles. All you do is clean out a soda bottle (we bought the Sparkling Ice Carbonated Waters at the Dollar Tree). I HATE those things but Grayson likes them so we poured all 4 in a pitcher and watered it down and there it sits in the fridge for Grayson lol. Anyway, we bought those bottles since they're long and skinny. We split up the colored hearts and confetti into colors and set some of the colored hearts and confetti to the side to make a rainbow sensory bottle. You have use anything to go in the bottles. We used a funnel to dump the hearts and the confetti into the bottle and then filled it with water and wah-la! Lol! To keep the cap good and tight, you can hot glue the cap to the bottle to seal it. We also searched through our recycling and found a Pepsi bottle and made a "rain stick" bottle that's not pictured that has rice, angel hair pasta, tooth picks and salt in it. It makes a pretty cool sound although, again, it was just a test run so we'll have to put more rice, pasta, tooth picks and salt in it to really make a cooler sound.
Of course I had to get a picture of all the colors :)
And my OCD kicked in trying to match the colored hearts to the colored bowls lol Grayson was right next to me the whole time so I was teaching him colors at the same time lol
And this is where the sorting got hard lol that was A LOT of confetti to be in that itty bitty bag lol
Get a funnel and put it in the bottle like so and dump everything in the bottle (FYI dump the stuff in there BEFORE you add water)! If you don't, it'll cause a bigger mess. Glad I realized that BEFORE I did it lol
I only bought 4 bottles so we made a green, yellow, pink and rainbow one
I absolutely LOVE the rainbow one! It's just so pretty and mesmerizing!
