Crock-Pot Chili

If I could and my husband wouldn't be like, "urghh another crock-pot dinner," I would seriously cook EVERYTHING in a crock-pot! It's one thing I'm really good at and I can't burn! Lol! I really don't like chili or at least I didn't when I was younger (ask my mom lol), but oh my goodness is this crock-pit chili so good and I'm addicted! Here's the recipe :)

Crock-Pot Chili:

Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion
- One 15 oz. can light red kidney beans (drained and washed)
- One 15 oz. can dark red kidney beans (drained and washed)
- Three 8 oz cans tomato sauce
- Two 10 oz. cans diced tomatoes with lime juice and cilantro (you can also use the diced tomatoes with green chilies. Do not drain these)
- 1/2 cup beef broth or water (I had to add a litt more beef broth and I definitely recommend beef broth. It gives it a little more flavor)
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon chili powder or 1 packet of the chili seasoning mix
- Mild cheddar cheese or Mexican-blend cheese
- Sour cream
- Saltines

Directions:
- Brown ground beef and drain
- Chop and sauté onions (I didn't do sauté the onions the second time I made this and it tasted so much better)
- Drain and wash your kidney beans (I wash mine because I really don't like that slimy juice lol)
- Add onion, can of diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, kidney beans, beef broth, sugar, chili powder and cooked ground beef to your crock pot. Mix well.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-6 hours. The longer it cooks the better :)
- Serve with sour cream, cheese and saltines if desired. I honestly used Ritz crackers and it made the chili kind of sweet and it was so good!

Enjoy and let me know how you like it :)
