Grayson has taken a sick week so we have done almost nothing with orange week. He's been sick since Tuesday and Monday was a holiday for TC so we adventured into town that day so that day was shot for orange week. We did dive into his sensory bucket and took an orange bath though! We'll come back to orange soon. I think we'll focus on red this coming week. Wish us luck with that one because I'll be on the hunt for treats that don't have red dyes in them. I may buy some cherries and see how Grayson likes those. He doesn't like strawberries or tomatoes but I may be able to trick him into eating strawberries if I make strawberry shortcakes lol but I doubt it since the kid isn't stupid at all! You put cheese on broccoli, he licks the cheese off. You try to trick him into eating grocery store canned beans by putting them in a mason jar and telling him they're Grandpa's home grown green beans, yeah no! There is no tricking this kid what so ever! Now bribing? That works wonders! Lol!
Grayson has the croup which is sort of like bronchitis but the croup targets the upper respiratory and bronchitis targets the lower respiratory. Just some medical terminology for ya haha! He went to the doctor yesterday and was prescribed some meds and boy, has THAT been LOADS of fun to get him to take! He's taken it three times now, but the first two times he's taken it, TC and I have had to hold him down and hold his nose so he'll swallow it and Grayson STILL was able to spit a lot of it out. So tonight, I put my foot down and bribed him! I got down on his level and told him that if he could take his medicine like a big boy without a fuss that he could have those sweet tarts that he's been begging me for all day long. And what do you know, he came right up to me with his mouth opened and took his medicine like a champ! He usually loves taking medicine (usually his Tylenol when it's needed only because it's grape flavored and tastes very sugary). This medicine, on the other hand, is disgusting! Or at least I trust that it's disgusting with Grayson's reaction lol. It smells very good but since Grayson is allergic to red dyes and mint, they had to make it special, which means clear and nasty in other words lol. Why they can't flavor his medicine with grape, banana or orange, I'll never know! It's always strawberry, cherry or some kind of mint! Urgh! I'm just very proud of him for taking that medicine without a fuss, whininess, tantrum, back-talk, nothing! I was pretty shocked! But I guess he really wanted those sweet tarts and of course he didn't let me forget lol! He didn't eat them though. He sucked on like three and then made me eat them. I've thankfully not gotten what Grayson has gotten though *knock on wood* which I'm surprised because I'm around him 247 and he's been kissing me and shoving his sippy cup in my mouth lol praying to God I don't get it. I hate being sick!
The past couple of day, Grayson has been OBSESSED with feeding me! I was sharing some soup with him and he got his very own spoon. But he had other intentions for that spoonful of soup than eating it himself. He opened his mouth trying to get me to mimic him so I did and he shoveled the soup in my mouth. When he did it again, he spilt the soup all over me lol I kindly told him that he could feed me when I got to be an old lady. He looks at me with such a serious face and says, "you are!" Out of the mouths of babes I swear! Haha! I guess I am old to him lol
Grayson has been very full of himself this week. He's gotten so smart and boy does he have a smart mouth like his momma! Lol! I take full responsibility for that one! Whenever we leave to go somewhere, I always tell the dog to get back. Grayson has picked up on that. Whenever someone comes over and I hold Bacon back, Grayson does that too. After dinner tonight, Grayson and I went over to my Nanie and Grandpa's house to give them some of my broccoli casserole. In return, my Nanie gave us some brownies. When we got back, I put Grayson in his high chair and gave him a brownie. I told him not to give any to the dog and he responds with, "uhhhh duh!" Then he commences to throw his brownie on the floor 2 minutes later lol thankfully I got to it before Bacon could. Grayson has just been VERY full of himself lately and it's too funny! I so wish I could video tape him all day long. He's just so funny and full of sass!
Ok, I'm about to get off of here and join Grayson as he's asleep. It's been a long day to say the least. Hope everyone has a great weekend :)

Crushed Potatoes
These didn't turn out like I was hoping but they were still good! Here's the recipe :)
Crushed Potatoes:
Ingredients:
- 4 red potatoes
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 garlic clove (minced)
- Chives
- 4 tablespoons butter (melted)
- Salt and pepper
- Parmesan cheese
- Any other toppings you'd like
Directions:
- Preheat broiler on oven (honestly, I have never broiled anything in the oven before so when I read this recipe I was like, "why doesn't it tell me the degree to set it to...until my mother in law explained to me that the broiler doesn't have a degree setting lol whoops my bad! So in case y'all didn't know that, there ya go lol_
- Microwave potatoes in a potato bag or small bowl for 4 minutes or until fork tender
- With a potato masher, press down on potatoes just once until potatoes are flattened
- Mix together garlic and oil
- Pour over potatoes
- Sprinkle chives, cheese and any other desired topping over potatoes
- Pour melted butter over the potatoes
- Broil for 7-10 minutes of until crispy
I had to bake mine because I had other things in the oven I needed to cook at the same time, so mine didn't turn out like I wanted, it just turned into a mashed baked potato lol but it was still good. It would be REALLY good with sour cream on top after they're cooked :)
Enjoy and please let me know how you like it :)
Again, I didn't get an after picture because dinner was late and we were hungry lol

Broccoli and Cheese Casserole
This is one of Paula Deen's recipes and it'll really make you wanna slap yo momma! haha just kidding don't do that but seriously this is delicious and I was pretty proud of myself! And if you know my husband and how he HATES vegetables ESPECIALLY broccoli and he ate not one but TWO helpings of this stuff so you know it's good then! Lol! I had found another recipe that called for chicken in this but our water was down where I couldn't run hot water of the bag of chicken to thaw it out and dummy me forgot to put the chicken in the fridge to thaw overnight so I went with no chicken in it and just cooked balsamic/brown sugar chicken once the water cut back on and I also made crushed potatoes (those recipes to follow this one) :) Anyway, here's the recipe:
Broccoli and Cheese Casserole:
Ingredients:
- 1 bag frozen broccoli
- 2 eggs (beaten)
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup (it called for one of the small cans but all I had was a family size can and honestly, it was better with the family size)
- 1 sleeve Ritz crackers (crumbled)
- 2 tablespoons butter (melted)
- 1 cup cheddar cheese
Directions:
- Preheat over to 350 degrees
- Spray your 13x9 inch baking dish with cooking spray
- Crumble up a sleeve of Ritz crackers (I was a big dummy and wasn't sure if I was going to use a whole sleeve so I took a few crackers at a time and crumbled them with my CLEAN hands lol but your best bet is to keep them in the sleeve and beat them on the counter. Takes out frustrations AND is mess free if you're careful lol)
- Chop up broccoli in fine pieces (this is where my handy dandy Pampered Chef chopper comes in)
- In a large bowl, combine mayo, beaten egg, cream of mushroom soup, cheddar cheese and broccoli and mix well
- Spread mixture in your baking dish
- Top with crumbled Ritz crackers
- Pour melted butter over Ritz crackers
- Bake for 35 minutes or until crackers are golden brown
I think next time I'm going to add some onion and chicken and see how good that it because this alone was deliciously awesome!
Enjoy and please let me know how you like it :)

Crock-Pot Chili
If I could and my husband wouldn't be like, "urghh another crock-pot dinner," I would seriously cook EVERYTHING in a crock-pot! It's one thing I'm really good at and I can't burn! Lol! I really don't like chili or at least I didn't when I was younger (ask my mom lol), but oh my goodness is this crock-pit chili so good and I'm addicted! Here's the recipe :)
Crock-Pot Chili:
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion
- One 15 oz. can light red kidney beans (drained and washed)
- One 15 oz. can dark red kidney beans (drained and washed)
- Three 8 oz cans tomato sauce
- Two 10 oz. cans diced tomatoes with lime juice and cilantro (you can also use the diced tomatoes with green chilies. Do not drain these)
- 1/2 cup beef broth or water (I had to add a litt more beef broth and I definitely recommend beef broth. It gives it a little more flavor)
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon chili powder or 1 packet of the chili seasoning mix
- Mild cheddar cheese or Mexican-blend cheese
- Sour cream
- Saltines
Directions:
- Brown ground beef and drain
- Chop and sauté onions (I didn't do sauté the onions the second time I made this and it tasted so much better)
- Drain and wash your kidney beans (I wash mine because I really don't like that slimy juice lol)
- Add onion, can of diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, kidney beans, beef broth, sugar, chili powder and cooked ground beef to your crock pot. Mix well.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-6 hours. The longer it cooks the better :)
- Serve with sour cream, cheese and saltines if desired. I honestly used Ritz crackers and it made the chili kind of sweet and it was so good!
Enjoy and let me know how you like it :)

Crunchwrap Supremes
Y'all these are seriously amazing and of course they were a big hit for TC so here's the recipe :)
Crunchwrap Supremes:
Ingredients:
- Large soft tortillas
- Small hard taco shells
- Queso dip (or salsa but I really recommend the queso dip)
- 1 pound ground meat
- Shredded lettuce
- Diced tomatoes
- Sour Cream
- Mexican-blend cheese
- Any other desired toppings
Directions:
- Brown ground beef and drain
- Microwave soft tortillas for about 30 seconds so they're easy to bend
- Lay your tortilla flat on a baking dish or plate
- Add a dollop of queso dip in the center of your tortilla and spread around (don't cover whole tortilla, just the center about the same size as the hard taco shell)
- Add a little bit of ground beef over the queso dip
- Place a hard taco shell on top of the meat
- Spread sour cream over the whole top of your hard taco shell
- Add lettuce, tomato and cheese
- Fold edges of your tortilla until it's completely closed (if it doesn't completely cover like mine didn't, tear off a piece of another tortilla and place over the opening
- Press with a spatula so it stays closed
- Spray a skillet with cooking spray or cooking oil
- Cook your crunchwrap for about 5 minutes on each side or until browned
And enjoy. These are VERY easy and so delicious! You can dip them in more queso dip, salsa, sour cream, whatever. They're REALLY good dipping into the queso dip! Ahhhhmazing!

Orange Week, Buzz Lightyear and Crunchwrap Supremes!
I know I have the most random titles ever! Haha! But at least they make sense in the end
This week, we've started the color orange! I'm kind of regretting this one since I have NOTHING prepared besides Grayson's sensory bucket, snacks and of course bath time. I don't have anything but beads for his sensory bottle so I need to hop to since we're already going on day 3 and there's only 2 more days left. We are wearing our yucky Clemson shirts lol. Let me rephrase that, I'M wearing TC'S yucky Clemson shirt while Grayson has his own lol. (I'm a Carolina fan and TC is a Clemson fan so we have a battle in this house haha). Today we had cheddar cheese peanut butter crackers and orange kool-aid for snack. It's been pretty fun so far!
This past weekend was SO busy and this weekend went by super slow thank the Lord! Usually they go by so fast but I guess since TC had a 3 day weekend, it went by slower. Sunday, we went to the flea market for Grayson to pick out his Valentine' Day gift (I'm a slacker, this I know lol). He of course saw these Buzz Lightyear wings that you wear like a back pack and HAD to have them so since they were a fair price, I bought them for him. Those are gonna be great for his birthday party in April! I also treated Grayson to some mini donuts with powered sugar. He LOVED those and they were SO good! I definitely wanna get a deep fryer and make them at home on occasion. I also went to the Dollar Tree to get some more stuff for Grayson's boxes and activities. I'm going to be starting a behavior/chore chart for Grayson and I can't wait! I just need to find a cute, little treasure box and of course goodies to fill it with and then we'll be set! And Grayson's chores will consist of pretty much cleaning up his mess like the food he throws on the floor (that the dog doesn't eat lol) and his toys and anything else he gets into. He loves to help me unload the dishwasher with his things that are in there and he loves to help me do laundry! Now if only he could learn how to fold clothes lol! We had a very busy weekend but we were able to spend some time as a family so that's all that matters.
Tonight, we had these DELCIOUS crunchwrap supremes! OH MY GOODNESS Y'ALL HAVE TO TRY THESE! SO good! I'll be posting the recipe soon :)
Ok, keeping it semi short tonight. Very tired and I have pictures to edit :)

Hypoallergenic Banana Cake for Baby's 1st Birthday
Y'all that title was as close as I could get to what this is! Haha! And please for the love of GOD, don't feed this to your birthday party guests or ANYONE but your baby lol I warned y'all!
Ok, I made this cake for Grayson for his 1st birthday last year (oh my goodness I can't believe I'm saying LAST year! ahhh!) ANYWAY! Grayson is allergic to SO many things! We found out he was allergic to dairy when he was just 1 month old. He was a breastfed all the way up until he was 18 months old when he weaned himself. When we found out he was allergic to dairy, one of the other pediatricians in the office was the one who tested him for it. When she found out I breastfed him, she immediately told me to quit because "it would be too hard and time consuming for me to cut dairy out of my diet for him." Oh, I proved her wrong. I was never a dairy person. I couldn't eat much without getting sick...until I got pregnant and that's literally all I craved along with fruit and vegetables. That's what gave Grayson such a bad case of being allergic to not only dairy, but soy as well. I cut out dairy out of my diet in order to continue breastfeeding him. And I'm not talking about just cheese, milk, ice cream...no I had to literally check every label with anything I ate or drank. Let's just say restaurants LOVED me lol. I couldn't have anything that said dairy, soy, traces of dairy or soy, casein, or whey. It was a long, hard journey to say the least, but I did it for Grayson. Kids usually outgrow it, but Grayson hasn't already. He can have dairy now like cookies, cake, milk, things with cheese in it, etc., but he can't overload or he'll get explosive diapers. He used to get TERRIBLE stomach aches when he was a baby but doesn't anymore. It just runs through him and he's good now lol.
Of course this cake, oh my goodness is it hypoallergenic lol. Grayson can't have nuts until he's 2 not because he's allergic to them but because it's a choking hazard. So I put no nuts or anything in it that touched nuts. When found out Grayson was allergic to eggs too so we have to substitute big time for this recipe. Along with eggs, dairy and soy, Grayson has issues with red dyes and mint. Long story short, we got him tested for this allergic reactions and everything was negative. His allergist said it was negative because Grayson will outgrow them eventually. He's allergic to them right now, but the test was negative because he's not PERMANENTLY. Don't ask me how a test can tell if you're permanently allergic or if you'll outgrow it lol.
ANYWAY! I say, don't serve this cake to your guests ONLY because I put breast milk in THIS cake recipe. This was Grayson's cake smash cake for his party since he couldn't have all the dairy and eggs in the one I had made for his guests. I just don't think your guests would appreciate breast milk in their cake although you can't tell a difference and what do you think a cow's milk is? Lol I won't go there because of course they do things to that milk and blah blah blah! Even if you DON'T use breast milk, I STILL don't suggest you make this for party guests. It's not gross or anything but it just has a weird texture and tastes VERY different from a regular non hypoallergenic cake.
SO here's the recipe!
Ingredients for the Cake:
- 6 ounces of breast milk (of course you can use regular milk but I of course couldn't)
- About 2-4 bananas (mashed); this was to substitute the eggs. You can also you applesauce and other things of course because the bananas make it super sticky
- A gluten free cake mix (the one cake mix I could find that didn't have dairy or eggs in it, but I do recommend you of course checking the ingredients first)
Ingredients for the Icing:
- Dairy free cream cheese (I FINALLY found some at our 14 Carrots store thank the Lord and y'all the stuff tastes just horrible if you're not used to things dairy free lol)
- Powered sugar
Directions:
All you seriously really do is follow the instructions on the cake mix, add the breast milk or regular milk, smash the bananas, and voila! Lol and for the icing, you combine the cream cheese and powdered sugar and again voila! Haha that simple!
And again y'all this cake is VERY sticky! Grayson loved the cake but did NOT like just how sticky it was. It's super, super sticky because of the bananas so if your kids hate sticky, go with applesauce instead of bananas. Grayson just LOVED bananas as the time and I was trying to give it a banana flavor since his party of course was sock monkey themed lol

Meatball Sub Casserole
Y'all this is seriously DELICIOUS! Although the next time I make it, I'm going to switch out the mayo for ricotta cheese AND find a different brand of pasta sauce other than what Aldi's had lol ok so here's the recipe (I have pictures of each layer below)
Ingredients:
- 1 loaf of Italian bread
- 1 packet Italian seasoning
- 1 8oz. package of regular/original cream cheese (softened)
- 1 jar of pasta sauce
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise (or ricotta cheese)
- 1 package shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 package frozen meatballs
- Pepper for taste
(that was a lot of 1's lol)
- Spray baking dish with cooking spray
- Arrange Italian bread in a single layer (I did 2 layers to fill in the holes that the bottom layer made since I didn't have any small pieces in my loaf...you will only use half a loaf but my grocery store's deli was closed so I had to just grab a loaf that was already made on the shelf lol)
- In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, mayo, Italian seasoning packet and pepper and mix well
- Spread cream cheese mixture over the bread
- Sprinkle half of you shredded mozzarella over the mixture
- In a large bowl, combine pasta sauce and meatballs coating the meatballs
- Spread meatball mixture over cheese
- Spread remaining cheese over meatball mixture
- Cook uncovered for 30-35 minutes and voila! :)
I think it would be SO much better with cream cheese and ricotta rather than the cream cheese and mayo but either way it was good :)
Meatball Sub Casserole
Ingredients:
- 1 loaf of Italian bread
- 1 packet Italian seasoning
- 1 8oz. package of regular/original cream cheese (softened)
- 1 jar of pasta sauce
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise (or ricotta cheese)
- 1 package shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 package frozen meatballs
- Pepper for taste
(that was a lot of 1's lol)
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees- Spray baking dish with cooking spray
My Bloody Valentine!
Today has been the BEST Valentine's Day ever! The heck with the nasty chocolates, stuffed animals that will be tossed in Grayson's stuffed animal collection and flowers that'll wilt and be thrown out within 2 weeks. TC and I had an adventurous, exhausted, and long day but a fun one at that! To see my husband have so much fun was worth it for me and of course I had fun too. We started off early in the morning from 8:00-12:00 at an air soft game. We got my mother in law to come watch Grayson and of course they had fun. TC and I joined his friend Adam in photographing the event. Yall should have seen me! I had a sweater like shirt on with 2 jackets and this huge safety vest on with a hat and face mask. It was pretty epic and I looked like a giant burnt marshmallow haha I could barely move in other words lol. The air soft game was pretty much like a combat scene. We just had so much fun! We came back home to eat lunch. We had meatball sub casserole that I had made last night which was supposed to be for dinner last night but plans changed lol it was so good but I'm definitely changing up the recipe a little (recipe to follow).
I HAD to take a nap once we got back home. I was exhausted from having to stay up late with Grayson and then waking up early this morning. I tried to get Grayson to take a nap with me but of course he had other plans. I thought he was asleep but NO he got mischievous by being extra quiet while I was falling asleep. He made a little noise that startled me and the look on his face when I caught him was PRICELESS! He was flipping through Daddy's book....ANNDDDD he had taken his diaper off lol nakey party for one! Ha! Thankfully he didn't pee all over the place. ANYWAY! Lol! After I woke up, TC's friend Adam had come over and I sorted through some of my photography equipment and gave some to him since he's buying one of my cameras from me. He was pretty excited and thanked me about, oh I don't know, A MILLION times haha! Glad he was excited though and glad I could help him :)
We chilled for a little bit and my mom came over to watch Grayson so TC and I could go to Deceased Farms for their My Bloody Valentine event. For those of you who have never been to or have never heard of Deceased Farms, it's a farm owned by a couple who goes to my church that turned it into a couple of haunted houses. This year was the first year they've done a Valentine's event and it was so awesome! They usually only do them for the month of October and then do special events for kids and stuff throughout the year. So I was so excited! TC hates things they scare him like that but he was a champ and enjoyed it just as much if not more than I did haha! We saw some of TC's old students there who made us tag along with them through the mazes. Of course the scarier and more time consuming maze, the kids chickened out on right as we were entering lol so TC and I went alone and it was kinda nice not to have a bunch of screaming kids in my ear haha! The 3D maze was pretty cool and that's the one the kids went through with us. It definitely wasn't as neat or scary as the 2nd maze TC and I did alone. The place is just amazing and I'm hoping I can talk to the owners at church to see if TC and I could check it out during the day and MAYBE even take some pictures of the place for them. It's just so neat! I laughed the whole time except for the part where they have this huge dragon pop out at you and roar. That was mine and TC's favorite part. Of course people touch you and kind of get in your face but they're pretty nice as long as you're not screaming your head off and you looked terrified lol. Through the 3D maze, one of the scary people wouldn't let the boy we were with through the bridge past her. So I went back and rescued him. He was terrified and pretty mad that the two girls we were with ditched him lol. Of course they made TC be in front and me in back haha but I didn't get any of the action in the back. When TC and I went through the 2nd maze alone, we laughed the whole time but got pretty freaked out when we had to go through tunnels and this blown up material where you're squeezed in. And then of course the fog and the loud horns caused some troubles. One scary guy popped out and asked if I'd hold his hand so I did and he held my hand for a good bit while touching and smelling my hair trying to freak me out haha it was just so awesome! And of course all of them grabbed my butt when they were trying to grab my leg. I'm short so they miscalculated haha! And I got molested by a chain saw haha seriously the guy wouldn't get that dang thing off of my butt! I definitely wasn't scared through the thing. Now if I went through it on my own than that would be another story haha!
It was overly just an amazing day and it so beat out any candlelit dinner and rose petal bed/bathtub any day! I like the romantic things although TC's not very romantic. He definitely has his moments and tries way too hard lol I'm not one of those girls who DEMAND and NEED things like that all of time especially on Valentine's Day, Anniversaries and Birthdays. If it happens, it happens and it's sweet and gushy and I enjoy it. I'm a BIG girly girl but have my moments where I like to get muddy and pretty much be one of the boys. It's a rare occasion to say the least but I do enjoy it lol. And I was the ONLY girl at that air soft game with about 30 guys! Haha! But a day like this just tops all of that for me to be honest. All of those gifts I could have gotten couldn't have beat this day. I've always enjoyed TIME over gifts (well maybe not as kid duh lol) but as I'm getting older gifts are nice, but time with my family means more to me honestly. And being able to spend the day with my husband (no offense to Grayson lol) meant a lot to me. We don't usually go out anywhere without Grayson. I would always be a nervous wreck and couldn't enjoy myself without Grayson, but as he's getting older it's gotten easier and I'm starting to love date days/nights. As much as I love spending time together as a family, TC and I need that time alone as well.
I just want to thank my husband for such an amazing day and thank my mom and mother in law for watching Grayson for us today. I love them so much! For the past week, I've been joking with TC saying, "now you know what I want for Valentine's Day! I want flowers, a stuffed animal, all this gushy stuff," and of course I was kidding. All I honestly asked for was to be able to spend time with him for Valentine's Day. We get the weekends to spend time together and do things as a family and we get to spend about 3 hours of time with TC from the time he gets home from work to the time he goes to bed but being able to spend a whole day together without us having errands to run, without me having photoshoots, and (I know this sounds bad but) without having to run out and help a friend...was nice. I don't mind any of those things. Errands need to be run, the house needs tending to, money needs to be made and friends/family need help and I love doing all of those things (well besides errands and cleaning house haha), but it was nice to have one day set aside for just TC and I without having to worry about anything besides Grayson at home if something ever happened which it didn't phewww! Lol! We definitely need to make that at least a monthly thing and not just on a "holiday" :)
Ok so since this post is EXTREMELY long because of my big mouth, I'll be posting the recipe for meatball sub casserole in a different post...right now I swear lol

Airplanes and Spankin' Butts
Random title I know, but I'm getting to that lol
Today, Grayson and I had one big adventurous day! We went to the airport to photograph one of my friends and her family as her husband left for awhile. After we got through security and all of that fun jazz (not), Grayson and my friend's little boys just HAD to try out the flat escalator thing lol! We got to where everyone was boarding and had to wait a little while. Grayson met TONS of nice people (and when I say nice, I mean, they didn't mind letting Grayson high five them, tag them, hug and kiss them.....wait for it....SPANK THEIR BUTTS! Most Embarrassing Child Reward goes to....*drum roll please* Mariah Wallace! Lol! Seriously my kid is a trip! Good thing he's so cute though right? Haha no seriously the people who he did this to were very understanding and very entertained while they waited so patiently to board their airplanes....good thing these people knew my friend a little bit. Lol! One of the ladies gave Grayson a lollipop and she became his best friend of course haha! And then Grayson saw one mommy nursing her baby and oh dear Jesus, Grayson wanted to join the fun! He was a breastfed baby up until he was 18 months old when he weaned himself so in other words, Grayson loves boobs just to throw that out there! Haha!
ANYWAY! After my friend's husband boarded the plane, we got to see all of the airplanes take off. Grayson LOVED that! The look on his face was just priceless and he was so happy! He's never seen an airplane take off before so it was all new and exciting for him. Pictures of him to follow.
We got home and made dinner, but once Daddy got home, all of us were invited to go to Shoney's for dinner. So dinner went in the fridge for tomorrow's Valentine's Day dinner :) (pssst it's meatball sub casserole) :)
Shoney's, oh Shoney's! The high fives, tags, hugs and kisses AND butt spankings continued! Dinner and a show anyone? I don't know how many times I heard, "he's too cute!" or "oh, he's to precious!" Grayson can't stay still for very long after he eats. We usually always have to rush to eat because Grayson will hurry up and eat and want to play ASAP! Well I ran around Shoney's with him and everyone was so inviting of him and even played with him by tickling him every time he rounded their table.....except one woman! With Grayson's SPD (Sensory Processing Disorder), he can't wear shoes for very long. He loves to put on shoes and run around in them, but the minute he sits down where he notices that he has shoes on, he'll seriously put himself in a panic attack when he tries to get them off. So in other words, he didn't have any shoes on running around the carpeted restaurant. Every time we rounded this one lady's table, she had to say something each time about him not wearing shoes. She did the same thing to TC every time TC got up and went to the buffet. I finally said something to her nicely and she hushed up about it. People who just don't have a clue just really irritate me. But I kindly said something to her and let it go. I wasn't going to let one person out of all of these people who were inviting of Grayson, get to me. Anyway, Grayson had to high five, hug and kiss everyone who he passed. And then we he circled the buffet table, he spanked people's butts and ran away lol I don't know how many times I had to apologize to people lol. We tried to maintain him in our little area but all he was doing was screaming. So instead of getting nasty ugly looks, I let Grayson run a muck pretty much. He was very quiet as he ran around and no one (besides that one woman) had a problem with it. They joined in and Grayson loved it! He always has to be the center of attention and always has to bring entertainment to people. It's a curse and a gift all in one lol. He's definitely going to be the class clown when he gets in school and I guarantee I'll be making plenty of trips to the principal's office ha!
Now everyone is going to think I let my child run a muck haha no! He never asks like this so I was just as surprised as everyone else. This week he has been VERY full of himself and I think it has a lot to do with his confidence boost. I know that sounds silly but I'm serious! When we sat down and decided what we needed to change when it came to mine and TC's actions and our choices we've made and went through with those changes, we seriously have this whole different child. Not saying Grayson was some kind of mopey kid who never smiled because we were mean to him. Oh heck no! Grayson has ALWAYS been happy. He's always had a smile on his face and he's always had such confidence. Some will say he's too young to have confidence and that may be true because he is a toddler and some toddlers are very friendly and happy go lucky where they don't hesitate when it comes to strangers. But I have just seen a dramatic change to Grayson's behavior now that we're more calm with him and spending more time with him rather than worrying about the house being spotless, being on our computers and phones like we were, and running around like a chicken with its head cut off. He's listened better than he ever has and he doesn't throw near as many tantrums. He's also gotten a better grasp on learning new things. I'm just so proud of him and I'm really proud of ourselves for changing things. We're still working on it of course. It takes longer than a week. We're going to have to work on it every day like we would anything....but we're making progress and that's what matters. And if people think I let my child run a muck where he's spanking butts, high fiving people, hugging and kissing them...then so be it. He's exploring. Now no, when he was spanking people's butts, I was correcting him and he stopped doing it of course. But I don't see anything wrong with high fiving people and it's not like we were running around for an hour doing this. 10 minutes and he was done lol but I have just seen so much change in him and I'm loving it. I'm loving that he's exploring and I'm loving that he's interacting with people more. He's always interacted with people, always! He's never been shy what so ever (unless they have beards. He used to be terrified of anyone with beards but not anymore lol). I know about stranger danger, trust me no one lets me forget that one when Grayson is asking total strangers to get him out the buggy at the grocery store. I will teach him that when it's time because he's still too innocent to really grasp that yet. That and he's never not with me ya know? When he starts school, that's when the time will be. Anyway! Moving on! Lol
We ended blue week this week and I'm not sure which color we'll be starting on next week. Grayson can't tell me what's blue and he can't say the color blue, but this is just attempting to learn colors. I'm not going to hound him every second of the day and shove colors down his throat lol. It's going to take time and he'll learn them on his own time and at his own pace. I just can't wait until March 11th when he goes to BabyNet. We've been waiting six long months for this and now it's here. I've been praying so hard and now one of my prayers have been answered. I now just pray they can give me the tools to help Grayson, to teach me how to teach him if that makes any sense lol. I just pray that they can help Grayson overcome most of this stuff so he can focus on learning and where he can most definitely focus on sleeping instead of worrying about if he's going to miss something. He just never wants to sleep. When he was 14 months old, he went 2 days straight without sleep, which caused him to have what I thought was a seizure. But after testing and seeing a neurologist and all of that crazy mess, we figured out it was mimicking seizures due to migraines. It's sort of what I have but what I have isn't genetic. I have a conversion disorder that causes mimicking seizures due to stress. A conversion disorder can't be passed down like epilepsy or some other condition or disorder can be because a conversion disorder is pretty much the same thing as PTSD. Long story short, that's where Grayson's sleeping problems really started and I'm just praying that either BabyNet or even his regular pediatrician can help me with that. I'm scheduling an appointment with his regular pediatrician this week to see if he could give me any insight or advice about it.
I get off topic very quickly if you can't tell. TC and I call it "squirrel disorder" lol kind of like ADD....but you're talking about something and then OH LOOK A SQUIRREL haha! Ok so here are some pictures from yesterday and today. I'll be making a new post that has recipes on it :)

Grayson having fun with the dog. Bacon loves with Grayson chases him with things so Bacon can "charge" at it in a playful manner lol
Like father, like son lol
BLUE CUPCAKES! :)
This was Grayson's FAVORITE thing about blue week along with the blue bath :) The kid should have been a fish. He loves water!
I bought this little whisk looking thing a while back from Books A Million. It's a head scratcher and it feels amazing! Grayson snuck behind Daddy and did it to his head and TC got the heebie-geebies lol
Grayson loves to wear Daddy's military hat :)
At the airport. He had tons of fun :)
